Kyro

KryoIce — Cold Sovereignty

30 ml Eau de Toilette$24

Cold, made commanding. Kyro takes its name from the Greek κρύο — ice, cold, the hush before the storm. It opens with arctic frost sweeping over frosted plum, crisp and clear as breath on a winter morning. Evergreen balsam and wintry spiced iris rise at the heart like a snow-dusted forest held in stillness, then settle into fireside tobacco, smoked leather amber and creamy warming woods. A winter-cool scent for the man who does not rush to be noticed; his presence is already a climate.

Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoarfrost of heaven, who hath gendered it?

The Ritual

How to dress in it.

Two sprays into the collar of a wool coat and one across the chest of a soft knit sweater. Applied to attire — never to skin — the frost and balsam open cool against the cold, then the tobacco and leather warm slowly as the evening settles in.

“Thy name is as ointment poured forth.”

Song of Solomon 1:3

The Details

Questions of the house.

How long will it wear on my skin?
Kyro is composed as an eau de toilette — a lighter, fresher concentration and typically wears for five to seven hours — often longer when misted into wool, silk, or cashmere, where the fabric carries the fragrance well into the next morning.
What is its projection and sillage?
Projection is composed and intimate for the first hour, then blooms into a soft, room-filling sillage as the heart notes open. It announces itself with restraint — the trail of someone who has just left the room, rather than the person entering it.
How should I store my bottle?
Keep the bottle upright in its box, away from direct sunlight, radiators, and bathroom humidity. A cool, dark drawer or dressing-table cabinet preserves the composition best. Stored well, a sealed bottle holds its character for three to five years; once opened, enjoy it within eighteen to twenty-four months for the truest expression.
Is the fragrance suitable for sensitive skin?
Each composition is crafted with high-grade essential oils and skin-safe aroma molecules, and is free of parabens, phthalates, and artificial dyes. For very sensitive skin, we recommend applying to clothing or hair rather than directly to skin.
